Getting to Know the Wonderful World of Danny

The Wonderful World of Danny is a unique podcast starring Danny and his fake co-host, Ashley. Yes, Ashley is actually the barely-disguised voice of Danny. In addition to Danny and his "co-host," there are a number of "guests" who make their appearances on this quirky podcast about everything and nothing. Who is Danny? Information on Danny, the man, is hard to find, but he's been around for quite awhile and has quite the following.

Danny has the kind of humor that is difficult to describe. Currently, The Wonderful World of Danny has Danny in Duluth, Minnesota, in Danny Does Duluth. Each podcast features audio clips from such sources as South Park to the crowd sounds of a passing parade, interjected with commentary that, for most listeners, seems like the ramblings of someone who is really terribly bored. One may liken his humor to that of an annoying relative who always has a story to tell and tends to carry it beyond any semblance of reality. Danny seems to be enjoying himself, proudly proclaiming his popular podcast as a "fake radio show."

One might wonder if Danny is an only child as he talks to himself in the guises of many "guests" and his "sidekick," Ashley. His subject matter runs the gamut from how Danny's day is going to possibly a brief review of the most recent movie he's seen, sans any spoiler alerts. Some may find his humor tasteless or offensive while others will be rolling on the floor in a fit of laughter. Danny is not for everyone, but it is apparent that he's a popular guy who shows no signs of slowing down.

The Wonderful World of Danny is generally a half hour podcast in which Danny interviews a variety of "guests," discussing a variety of subjects. He is clearly having fun, which is likely why so many people enjoy listening to him. There is also just no way to predict what he's going to talk about in each subsequent show, so listeners never know what to expect each time they tune in.

Maybe that's the "Wonderful" part of Danny. With so many podcasts, radio shows, and television programs that seem to fit a certain format with little to no originality, one can definitely say Danny is an original who refuses to follow the norm.
